Time Between Two Worlds is an amalgamation of fairy tales that are brought to life against a 3 dimensional backdrop using dramatic circus, theatre, comedy and dance, creating a breath-taking modern performance that will appeal to audiences of all ages.

The hero of the story is Simple Simon who falls down a hole connecting the real world to the world of Fantasy. Here, the evil Queen of Hearts and her heartless army have captured and imprisoned the King and taken control of his lands. Simon is sent to find the Orb of Power, to rescue the King and restore peace.

During his adventures, Simon has tea with the Mad Hatter and March Hare, encounters beautiful mermaids in the Sea and takes flight into the air with dancing birds. All these characters help him keep one step ahead of the Queen and her heartless army and bring him closer to defeating her and restoring peace to the Fantasy World.

The story culminates with a spectacular battle between good and evil in the King’s castle. The Queen of Hearts gets her comeuppance and the Orb of Power is returned to its rightful owner, the King.  Big celebrations mark the return of the Fantasy World to peace and as the magical world fades, Simon returns to his world.

This production is performed with no spoken language. It was originally commissioned for the Bahrain Summer Festival in 2002 where it was a sell-out production attracting larger audiences than Sesame Street and Bear in the Big Blue House.
